• Anthony reciprocated by embracing the nickname {Tex},  industry and added the curly braces —
  (a)  as a tribute to his roots in C programming,
  (b)  to uniquely distinguish & identify him,  and
  (c)  to respect & not-infringe on others who have/had the nickname/name  Tex

• Anthony {Tex} Moreign has been,
… introduced  as {Tex} by Microsoft to Microsoft's customers & at Microsoft's events, e.g., when Speaking at various Microsoft conferences/events & various other Tier-1 tech conferences & events (e.g., Google, Fujitsu, etc.)  and the Professional Computing Community.
… addressed  as {Tex} while in Microsoft HQ (Redmond, WA)  after being invited to various Microsoft NDA concurrent programs to help Microsoft build its tech
… recognized  by various Microsoft Product Teams for his IP being built & readied on Microsoft's pre-releases, including some exclusive logos only available when Microsoft products are launched, to identify the select few
… known  as {Tex}  over decades in the computing community,  locally/Texas,  nationally/USA, and globally across multiple continents.

• Having risen from the trenches (in the era of unix), and having learnt from some brilliant minds (worldwide), he made sure to always have a unix/linux stack.  Despite his various roles, he continues to be hands-on in (the evolution of) computing, and the pragmatic_IP he creates continues embodying practical standards above & beyond "legal requirements" and future-proofing … e.g., IP that surpassed GDPR,  waaay before GDPR was even an idea;  saving his customers/clients significantly (headaches, time, money, etc.).   Being steadfast at this level of consistent quality & calibre resulted in him,  personally,  being,
…  1 of 20ish people,  worldwide,  invited by Microsoft HQ (Redmond, WA) to help Microsoft build its high-perf tech   (proof)
…  1 of the very select few to be a part of multiple Microsoft product teams at the same time,  significance?   (see this)
… the only 1 invited concurrently to multiple Microsoft councils & programs, e.g., the Developer Council, the Architect Council, the Partner Specialist Program, etc., by Microsoft South Central DPE  (pre-win8 & cloud,  during the era of HPC & Parallel-Computing).

• {Tex} has been evolving (with) the Computing industry for decades and given his vantage point, could foresee Microsoft's shifting away from decades of what made Microsoft into Microsoft (pre-2012),  and so he made sure that his companies & circle were no longer dependent on Microsoft tech/licensing/etc. … and while at it,  be free of  Big Tech (as much as possible) … here's 1 e.g., SaferOS™ for vetted entities … and other no-charge stuff for our community.

• {Tex}  + his family + friends strive to  avoid  mainstream & social media,  and are content being nobodies,  striving to Live their Purpose and help better the lives of those brought to them.   They created social media accounts ( as part of their  Safer_Computing™ ),  and even redacted their titles on  LinkedIn, etc.,  but preserved the rest of the info as proof of past achievements.

• {Tex}  remains grateful for ALL blessings received, and especially for Samantha, who, in addition to the many other facets/qualities, also has roots in computing … roots that are continued forward & furthered by their sons, Valentino & Caieus,  on the vNext of computing (e.g., Quantum, AI),  just as {Tex} & Samantha have been, over 3-decades, at the forefront of computing (Hybrid Computing, Parallel Computing, HPC, Cloud, etc.).
